Day 01 : Arrive Cochin
Arrive in Cochin , meet and greet at the
airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight.
Day 02 : In Cochin
Visit
of the historic city of Fort Cochin - ancient capital of the Dutch,
Portuguese and finally the British. A walking tour of Fort Cochin. Visit
will include the old Spice Market at Mattancherry, the antique shop on Jews
street, The Synagogue, Dutch Palace and the Church of St. Francis where the
mortal remains of Vasco Da Gama was buried before it was shifted to
Portugal. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 : Cochin - Periyar
After
breakfast, drive to Periyar which lies in the shade of Cardamom Hills and is
a beautiful area of tranquil winding. Check-in at Hotel . Late afternoon
enjoy a boat safari in Lake Periyar in the National Park, known for herds of
wild elephant, bison, deer and spectacular bird life. Overnight at Hotel.
Day
04 : Periyar
You may wish to venture again, early morning to the
national Park since it is the best time for sightseeings. After breakfast,
visit at and Spice plantations or do a soft trek with escort in the jungle.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Periyar - Kumarakom
After
breakfast, drive to Kumarakom on the banks of Lake Vembanad and hop on to
about to COCONUT LAGOON, an eco-friendly resort created out of old Sun-set
cruise on a rice boat. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Kumarakom
To
see an extra ordinary way of life. Remaining day at leisure.
Day
07 : Kumarakom - Marari
After breakfast, boat transfer across lake
Vembanad to Puthenangadi to take car/coach to Marari Beach. Rest of the day
at leisure. It is a paradise of sun, sea and sand and surf. Stay at Marari
Beach Resort.
Day
08 : Marari
Day at leisure on the beach. Resort provides full
fledged Ayurveda Centre/Clinic, the resident Doctor for consultancy and
various therapies for rejuvenation and cure.
Day 09 : Marari
Day
at leisure on beach optional Ayurveda treatment. Overnight
Day
10 : Marari
Day at leisure on beach optional Ayurveda treatment.
Overnight.
Day 11 : Marari Cochin airport
Transfer
to airport and assistance with all check-in formalities.
